Some Tottenham supporters cannot understand why Tanguy Ndombele was left out of France's Euro 2020 squad after seeing Adrien Rabiot's performance in the 1-1 draw with Hungary.
The 2018 World Cup winners have talent in abundance to choose from, with the centre of midfield one of the toughest spots for competition.
Ndombele, despite having an impressive season for Spurs, could not quite make the cut, with his club team-mate Moussa Sissoko, Chelsea's N'Golo Kante, Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso, Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Juventus' Rabiot all being chosen by Deschamps.
France started their Euros campaign with a 1-0 victory over Germany, but came unstuck against a battling Hungary in Budapest.
The Hungarians took a surprise 1-0 lead against the world champions before Antoine Griezmann levelled the clash in the second-half, but it was a game of frustration for the French midfield and attack - which left some Spurs supporters confused.

Gareth Bale recently heaped praise on his colleague for the 2020/21 season, and even compared the French midfielder to Ronaldinho.
The Wales winger spent last season on loan in north London, where he linked up with Ndombele throughout the term.
Bale said to Sky Sports : "I'd probably say Ndombele (surprised him the most at Spurs) this season.
"I hadn't seen too much of him when I was watching Spurs games the season before. I think obviously he had an adaption period coming over to England because it's quite a big jump.
"Just seeing what he does in training and on the pitch, I was very surprised.
"The amount of ability he has is actually frightening, the stuff he does with the ball kind of reminds me of the things you see Ronaldinho do with the ball. It is quite nice to watch."
He added: "I wouldn't say on a par [with Ronaldinho], but it reminds me of some of the stuff he does with the ball. It's mind-blowing, especially in training."
