Shocking moment motorist caught driving wrong way around roundabout outside Scots police station

Video footage has captured the moment a driver went the wrong way around a busy roundabout - just yards away from a Scots police station.

A shocked passerby filmed the crazy scene in Dunfermline town centre on Sunday morning, December 6, after spotting the lost traveller.

The short clip shows a navy-coloured Renault crawling along the inside lane before oncoming traffic comes flying towards it, tooting their horns at the wayward motorist.

The car, which did have it’s hazard lights on, continued on its journey around the traffic island towards Appin Crescent.

The footage was shared by Fife Jammer Locations (Fife Jammer Locations)

The footage, shared on Fife Jammer Locations, left viewers shocked at the bungling driver.

One wrote: “Sometimes when you think you’ve seen stupid and then this happens.”

Another said: “Now that’s what you call beating them stupid traffic lights.”

A third wrote: “Really what not to do on a roundabout.”

And a fourth added: “It’s Auntie Clockwise!”

When contacted by the Daily Record, Police Scotland said they had not received any reports about the incident.
