This is the shocking moment a maniac motorist passes within inches of a pair of terrified cyclists on a Scots road.
The hair-raising incident was caught on camera showing the silver Vauxhall Astra speeding by the two bikers in a dangerous overtake on the Dundonald to Troon road.
The reckless manoeuvre happened between 12pm and 12.30pm on Monday.
One of the cyclists, who didn't want to be named, said he had been riding with his elderly father when the other drover zoomed past and 'scared the living daylights' out of him.
He wrote: "Can anyone here help us identify this car/owner please?
"Today, my dad (who is 74) and I were on our way back from a ride (Dundonald to Troon road).
"As you can see in the photo capture, he is inches away from me.
"He then appeared to speed up, as you can hear in the video. He scared the living daylight out of me, and it was only my experience that kept me on the road.
"Likewise for my dad. It looks like there were two people in the car, but cannot be sure."
The man has since told the Daily Record he has reported the incident to police.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
