Shocking moment man snorts substance on busy Irish Rail train from Dublin to Cork

This is the moment a man snorts a substance on a busy train from Dublin to Cork on Monday evening.

An onlooker on the 6pm train headed for Kent Station in Cork city took the video while sitting across from the men.

She told CorkBeo that both men appeared to be "out of it" and were very "intimidating".

The video shows one of the men sorting out a substance on the table before snorting it through his nose.

The same man can be heard in the video saying "I love it" afterwards.

The woman who sent the video our way has called for more security on Irish Rail trains after the incident.

Irish Rail have confirmed that all Dublin to Cork trains have people onboard to whom incidents can be reported.

An Irish Rail spokesperson told CorkBeo: "All Heuston to Cork services have Iarnród Éireann personnel on board, to whom customers can report any issues of concern, or which require security or Garda personnel to assist.

"Furthermore, we are currently introducing Customer Service Officers on all our Intercity routes. While the focus of personnel is of course Customer Service, again they are in a position to seek support from security or Gardaí where required."
