This is the shocking moment a Liverpool Labour Councillor labels a female party colleague and Member of the European Parliament a 'pathetic little f*****g b***h'.
In a foul-mouthed outburst, filmed inside a pub, Wavertree Councillor David Cummings - who has been the subject of numerous official complaints from women in the Labour Party - can be heard laying into Labour MEP Theresa Griffin.
The rant was filmed by a fellow punter inside the Edinburgh Pub in Sandown Lane last month and came during a discussion about the European Parliamentary elections that had just taken place.
The filmer, who asked not to be named, said he is a Labour member who had discussed how he had decided to vote for the Green party in the elections.
He said it was at this point that Cllr Cummings - who was re-elected as a Labour Councillor in May - launched into the rant about Ms Griffin, who had just retained her seat as Labour's first-choice MEP.
The man said he started filming when he heard Cllr Cummings start to loudly insult Ms Griffin.
In the film, Cllr Cummings can be heard saying: "The Labour MEP Theresa Griffin, she was the MEP and she was up again.
"I know her and she's a patronising little f*****g b***h - and she's rolling in it."
He goes on to add: "I know this woman, actually know her - and she's a little....do you know if she came in this pub, she'd walk in and go 'oh no I'm not having a drink here and she'd walk right out."
"If she walked in here, she would see this and say 'oh I'm not having a drink in this place, let's go - f*****g rolling in it."
The ECHO has spoken to Ms Griffin - who has been a North West MEP since 2014 - and she said she has seen the footage and has now made an official complaint with the Labour Party.
She said: "Obviously I'm very disappointed by Councillor David Cummings' remarks.
"I believe this should be looked into further and be treated as a disciplinary issue by the Labour Party."
The ECHO understands that the Labour Party is reviewing the footage.
It is not the first time a female Labour member has complained about Cllr Cummings' behaviour.
In March, the ECHO revealed that last year he was the subject of five separate complaints from female Labour members, councillors and members of the public.
The complaints contained accusations of 'volatile and aggressive' behaviour.
A report by the Liverpool Labour party's former chief whip Alan Dean showed that Cllr Cummings was handed a written warning over his behaviour that was in place until February of this year.
When we asked Cllr Cummings about those complaints in March, he described them as 'absolute lies.'
When asked about his filmed comments about Ms Griffin today, he responded by repeatedly stating 'no comment.'
A Labour Party Spokesperson said: "All complaints are investigated in line with our rules and procedures and any appropriate disciplinary action is taken. We can’t comment on individual cases."
