This is the shocking moment a tower block daredevil jumped from one of Edinburgh's tallest buildings in a 'home made parachute'.
The heart-stopping footage has been posted on social media showing a man leaping from the 23-storey Martello Court in the Muirhouse area of the capital.
Risking his life in the 200ft plunge, he sails down through the air before crashing into trees on the ground below.
In the video, the camera pans to show the massive height of the drop as two men talk to teach other.
Hooks and what appears to be a parachute are shown as he prepares for his dive.
One says: 'Can you get a grip on me the now mate?' before swearing as he's confronted with the scale of the building.
The thrill-seeker is heard saying: "Right boys have a good one" and "See you down there" before plunging from the height.
He glides through the air, avoiding parked cars below, and ends up unscathed on the ground after crashing into trees.
Online locals branded the stunt 'mental'.
One wrote: "That’s not even the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen at Martello Court
Another added: "That's mental. Sounded like he'd hurt himself at the end though."
Another tweeted: "This is wild. Someone decided to parachute off of Martello Court in Edinburgh. One of the city’s tallest buildings at 64m (23 floors)."
It is unclear who the jumper was.
Police Scotland has confirmed the incident was not reported to them.
