This is the shocking moment a 15-year-old schoolboy was stabbed in a brutal machete attack.
CCTV footage released by West Midlands Police shows multiple masked assailants armed with blades charge at the victim.
The young boy was stabbed multiple times with a machete on Newhall Street outside the Central Academy school in Birmingham, at around 3.10pm on March 11.
The victim was rushed to hospital after the targeted assault, but his injuries are not serious.
Police have now released the sickening footage in a bid to track the suspects.

An investigation is ongoing and a 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of assault remains in custody.
Sergeant Asaf Khan from CID, said: “Although the arrest is great progress, I am asking for anyone who recognises the people in this CCTV to speak to us.
“We need to trace the boys who think it’s acceptable to walk around with a knife and attack a schoolboy.
“I am also interested in hearing from witnesses who saw what happened and that have not yet spoken to us, as well as those with mobile phone or dashcam footage."
