Shocking footage taken on Hill 16 shows Dublin and Kerry GAA fans brawl in front of gardai

This is the moment brazen Dublin and Kerry football fans became embroiled in a post-game brawl in front of gardai in Croke Park.

The fight broke out on Hill 16 on Saturday evening after the Dubs won their fifth consecutive All-Ireland football title.

The footage shows two sets of angry supporters squaring up to each other and exchanging words on opposite sides of a barrier.

And the despite the presence of gardai, up to 20 aggravated GAA fans began throwing punches.

Gardai confirmed to the Irish Mirror they were made aware of the incident.

However, no arrests were made and no injuries were reported after the swift actions by gardai. A garda spokeswoman said there was a "peaceful conclusion".

She said: "An Garda Síochána are aware of an incident that took place after the match of Dublin v Kerry on Saturday 14th September, 2019 in the grounds of Croke Park.

"The incident was dealt with swiftly by members of An GS at the time and brought to a peaceful conclusion. No persons were injured and no arrests were made."
