Shocking footage shows two men covered in blood after violent broad daylight brawl

Shocking footage has emerged of two men brawling in broad daylight on a city centre street - leaving both with "serious injuries".

Mobile phone video shows the pair, aged 27 and 65, embroiled in a violent tussle.

The row between the fighters broke out near to a Burger King restaurant on Renfield Street, Glasgow at just before 5pm today.

A clip filmed from above shows the men grappling onto each other while swinging punches as blood pours from their injuries.

One of the men, who was wearing a mask, was left covered in blood from a wound and some spatter is also visible on the pavement.

He was later filmed sitting in a nearby doorway being spoken to by a police officer after members of the public initially came to his aid.

Dressed in a sports jacket and shorts, his hand appears to be covered in blood.

But this was not shown in the footage and has not been confirmed by police, according to the Daily Record.

Paramedics were called to the scene while officers cordoned off a large section of the pavement as they carried out enquiries.

It has since been revealed that both men both suffered serious injuries and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
