
Shocking footage shows a man being Tasered outside West Croydon train station in south London, moments after punching a police officer.
The video, shared on TikTok and X, captures a tense standoff between the man and police in the middle of London Road, near the station.
He is eventually brought to the ground after being struck with the Taser.

The clip then shows a police officer in the back of a van, tending to a bloodied nose as fellow officers stand nearby.
The Met Police stated: “At 5.56pm on Wednesday, May 7, officers were made aware of suspicious behaviour relating to a man in Station Road, West Croydon.
“During an exchange with the man, one of the officers was physically assaulted, causing serious injuries, which were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“The man was tasered to prevent him causing further harm and arrested on suspicion of GBH at the scene.
“Asif Ahmadziy, 27, of South Road, Birmingham was charged with GBH that evening. He attended Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 9 and will next appear there on Tuesday, 13 May.”
