A man was viciously attacked in broad daylight by a gang of thugs who hit him from behind in Dublin city centre on Sunday afternoon.
The shocking dashcam footage that documented the savage beating was submitted to Dublin Live today.
The pictures show a group of at least four young men approaching another on the River Liffey boardwalk at Bachelor's Walk.
One of the gang grabs the man in a headlock, tightening his grip as the others poke kicks at his torso.
After initially falling to the ground, the man is able to get out of the attacker's clutches and make an escape attempt.
But he doesn't spot the two men sprinting at full pelt down the boardwalk, with one unleashing a vicious running kick right into his back.
The gang briefly admire their handiwork before heading off down the river, leaving the victim on the ground and out of sight.
