Shocking footage shows gender-reveal party stunt explosion that sparked huge Arizona fire

This is the shocking moment a gender-reveal party stunt explosion sparked a huge wildfire that eventually spread over more than 45,000 acres.

Extraordinary footage, released by the US Forest Services, shows how one gunshot started the April 2017 Sawmill Fire that stretched across southern Arizona.

The video was filmed by a witness at a gender-reveal party, where parents-to-be were telling their guests if they were expecting a boy or a girl.

Dennis Dickey, of Arizona, had planned on revealing that his wife was expecting a son by shooting a target filled with a colourful substance.
