Shocking footage shows Edinburgh cyclists - including 'delivery workers' running red lights

A video shared online appears to show Edinburgh cyclists, including 'delivery workers' deliberately going through red lights and cycling on the wrong side of the road.

The video was obtained by Edinburgh Record, a Twitter page that highlights dangerous traffic and travel issues in the capital.

In the shocking video, a cyclist who appears to be delivering food suddenly veers off the road and cycles on a pavement in Newington.

Other drivers who also appear to be delivering food can be seen throwing themselves out at red traffic lights.

In one heart-wrenching moment in the video, a cyclist can be seen going through a red light and emerging on to oncoming traffic.

A separate video also shared on Twitter by Edinburgh Record appears to show a cyclist going up the wrong side of a one-way road while 'holding a phone in his hands.'
