Shocking CCTV shows pensioner, 73, dragged out of his house during robbery

A shocking attack on an elderly man by a thug in his own home has sparked a police investigation.

CCTV footage shows the victim, aged 73, being dragged out of his front door and hurled to the ground in the cowardly daytime robbery.

The clip shows shows the attacker pushing the pensioner to the ground next to a black wheelie bin.

The pensioner desperately tried to call but another yob appeared and shoved him back into his home in Park Lane, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, last December.

The pair then ransacked the property before fleeing with the pensioner's mobile phone and money.

Days later, two women were captured on security camera returning the pensioner's phone to his home.
