The body of a man has been found by Gardai at a hostel in Dublin city centre.
The tragic discovery happened this morning at 7:30am at a hostel on Ellis Quay along the River Liffey.
Emergency services rushed to the accommodation but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to a mortuary in Dublin city centre.
Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí attended to an incident at an accommodation on Ellis Quay this morning, 20 th March 2021 at approximately 7.30am.
"A male was discovered deceased.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to a mortuary in Dublin city centre. The Coroner was notified."
