A woman was rushed to hospital in Leeds after two bungalow residents were arrested.
On Wednesday (May 4) around 12.15pm a man working on a building site in Seacroft, witnessed emergency services rush to a property in South Parkway. A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital in an ambulance, and "no one was allowed near the house", the witness added.
They added that several police cars were outside of the Leeds home around 8:46pm, and an officer monitored the property throughout the night, and throughout Thursday morning. The witness said: "I work on a site in Seacroft where the bungalows are opposite.
"We saw ambulances and a lot of police there. They brought out someone out to an ambulance - it looked like a small person. They stayed parked up for a long time.
"The police brought a female adult and a male adult out, handcuffed them, and later brought a small baby out in a police officer's arms to another ambulance.
"They took someone in a ambulance then the two people were arrested, and then brought a baby out. Police was searching the garden and there was police at the front door to allow no one near the house."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "Police were called by the ambulance service at 12.15pm yesterday (4 May) to a concern for safety at a property on South Parkway. A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital and is receiving medical treatment.
"A man and woman have been arrested. Enquiries are ongoing."
