Shirley Ballas has opened up about her boyfriend Daniel Taylor, admitting that she never believed that she would find someone who would care about her again.
The Strictly head judge, 58, also gushed about his "immaculate grooming" and said that he took care of himself "from head to toe".
Earlier this year it was revealed that Shirley was secretly dating 44-year-old theatre star Daniel.
The pair reportedly hit it off while they were working on Jack and The Beanstalk in Liverpool.
Appearing on Loose Women today, she said: "I never thought i would find another person that would care about me again."
When asked why, she explained: "Just past history and just different men that you're with, that gnaw away a little bit at your confidence and everything like that, it was more personal reasons."
Shirley split with ex-husband Corky in 2007 after 22 years of marriage but the pair had stayed friendly.
Yet things turned sour when he went to the papers about their marriage secrets before her Strictly debut.
Today, Shirley confirmed that she had met someone and that she was "very happy".
When the panel got onto the subject of male grooming, Shirley was asked about Daniel's habits.
"He's beautifully, immaculately groomed," she gushed. "Head to toe... he doesn't wax his underarms though!"
