Shipping container full of furniture missing from church, PSNI say

An 18ft long shipping container has gone missing from a church in Carrickfergus.

Police said the "long pale blue" container was reportedly full of furniture.

They are appealing for anyone who knows its whereabouts or who can help with their probe to get in touch.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police in Carrickfergus are appealing for information in relation to an 18 foot long pale blue shipping container.

"The container held the following:

    2 X Cherry wood tables
    2 X Cherry wood cabinets with silver fittings on the front
    2 X Cherry wood 6 foot tall filing cabinets
    4 X 'Visitor' black leather chair
    1 Large kidney shaped Cherrywood reception desk
    2 X 'Executive' black leather chairs
    5 X Cherrywood side board units
    1 red and black coloured hot air blower heater
    Miscellaneous office equipment including an unknown number of PCs."

    Constable Ron said it is missing from Elim Church, Northland, Carrickfergus.

    And is thought to have disappeared "sometime between 1100 - 1130hrs on 09/03/2020".

    "If you have any information in relation to this please call 101 in relation to serial 652 09/03/20," he added.
