Shin Yamada has promised to score goals on loan at Belgian side Leuven after the Celtic striker admitted he was in a 'difficult situation' last season.
The Japanese player has again been shunted out on loan after spending most of last season in Germany with Preussen Munster, who were relegated into the third tier.
Despite scoring in a Hoops pre-season game in Ireland, the 26-year-old has again been farmed out on loan to OH Leuven.
But he insisted he is determined to show Celtic what he can do.
He said: "It was a difficult situation for me last season, but now I have gained experience with many players and managers.

"So last season ended up being a positive experience.
"I'm happy and excited to be here. I think this club is a good fit for me and I can't wait to start playing for Leuven.
"Leuven showed me their project and I felt their football style was a good fit for me.
"I am confident in my own abilities and I am sure I can score many goals for the club.
