Shin Yamada refused to be drawn in on transfer speculation linking him with a move to Celtic.
The 25-year-old striker has been touted for a switch from the J-League to Celtic Park in a deal worth around £1.5m.
The Kawasaki Frontale star is on the radar of Brendan Rodgers this summer as he looks to add more firepower to Celtic's attack.
Yamada scored 19 goals in Japan's top-flight last season. He has 18 months left on his contract in Kawasaki.
Speaking after training yesterday, Yamada was asked about Celtic's interest/
Keeping his cards close to his chest, he replied: “Right now, I just want to do my best in the next game.”
