Four Shettleston neighbours have scooped up £120,000 - all thanks to their postcode.

The lucky residents are celebrating after winning the money in the People’s Postcode Lottery . They won £30,000 each when G31 5LA was announced as a winner on Sunday, 15 January.

The winners have chosen to remain anonymous, but the prize will be paid into their bank accounts.

Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “A massive congratulations to our four lucky winners in Shettleston. I hope they treat themselves to something extra special with the money.”

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than a billion pounds for thousands of charities and local good causes.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Planet Trust, which supports charities including African Parks, Marine Conservation Society and WWF.
