Shettleston murder rap as man appears in court after body of Ryan Richardson found in flat

A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a body was discovered at an address in Glasgow.

Ryan Richardson, 28, was found dead by police at his flat in Kilmany Drive in the Shettleston area of the city on Friday, March 15.

Officers from Police Scotland made the grim discovery at around 6.30pm after relatives contacted emergency services about Ryan's whereabouts.

Anthony Allan, 25, from Glasgow , was charged with murder when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.

He did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.
