The DuPage County sheriff’s office is investigating a possibly fatal fire in unincorporated Elmhurst.
Few details have been released about the fire that broke out Friday evening.
Elmhurst police and fire units were called to the fire in the 300 block of Willow Street, Elmhurst spokesperson Kassondra Schref said in an email.
The sheriff’s office said it was investigating a fire “with possible fatalities.”
Witnesses told CBS2 that two bodies could be seen in the home’s yard.
A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said he could not provide additional details.
