Sherif Lanre breaks silence after being kicked off Love Island as fans speculate why

Fans of the show have been speculating about why he was kicked out and Sherif Lanre has broken his silence after his shock Love Island exit, with a stetement including the infamous words "it is what it is."

There was serious Love Island drama just after lunchtime on Tuesday when show bosses confirmed that Sherif had been kicked off after "breaking the rules."

Their statement read "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa."

Sherif commented: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from."

And then Sherif was at the centre of a viral storm, when Instagram messages were circulated online, claiming to be from his account, saying that he was kicked out because of a fight with Anton.

"I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love island and for anyone wondering I'm all good. #itiswhatitis #BiggerThingsToCome."
