Sheridan Smith wants another baby six months after becoming a mum to son Billy

Actress Sheridan Smith is keen on having another baby after becoming a mum six months ago.

The Cilla star, 39, welcomed baby son Billy in May with her 30-year-old fiancé Jamie Horn.

The actress has revealed she never expected to have children but she is already ready to become a mother again.

Speaking on the Keep Calm and Kerry On podcast to host Kerry Ellis, Sheridan explained how her perspective had changed.

Sheridan said: "I'd love to have another baby...we've already spoken about it.

"It's hard when you start planning work, but it would be so nice."

Despite Jamie already planning on Billy becoming a football player for Arsenal, Sheridan says they will support whatever their little boy wants to be.

She revealed: "I never saw children on the cards for me, but it puts everything into perspective.

"Jamie’s dead-set on Billy being an Arsenal player. He’s like, 'If we can, get him into an academy at three' and I’m like 'No'.

"But when Jamie’s out, I put music on and shimmy at him.

"Whatever Billy does, we’ll support him. I’m learning as I go along."

Sheridan met Jamie after they both swiped right to each other on Tinder.

Speaking on documentary series Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum, Jamie lifted the lid on their first date.

Jamie said: "On our first date she was so timid, so sweet, and nervous.

"She came into this ram-packed boozer, an hour late.

"She walked in and literally she gave me this smile from across the bar and that was it."

The pair became engaged in May 2018 and now live together in North London.

In the documentary, Sheridan also revealed more about her son Billy and how she will shield him from social media.

"I won't be putting pics of the boy up on social media," she wrote, "But basically ... he looks like a male version of me. Just less 80's and more handsome! God love him! we all send our love."

Sheridan is in the middle of filming a new television series adaptation of classic tale Jack And The Beanstalk, which also stars Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams.
