Sheridan Smith has reunited with her ex boyfriend Alex Lawler just two months after splitting from fiancé Jamie Horn who she met on Tinder.
Alex and Sheridan last dated two decades ago.
The British actor called off her engagement with ex Jamie Horn back in July of this year after a three year relationship together.
The star, 40 took to her Instagram which suggests that she is back in a relationship with Alex whose acting credits include 2001 comedy Mike Bassett: England Manager and ITV football drama Dream Team.
She shared a video beside the actor and she captioned it: "So pleased this fitty I dated back in the day (20 years ago) is back in my life! Life works in mysterious ways...miss u Mr L."
Sheridan also shared an old headshot of Alex which has prompted positive comments from his and her fans.
One fan commented: "The deepest of connections always last the longest of life’s journeys. So pleased you’re back in a good place."
Another said: "Everything happens 4 a reason good and bad times. So when your life is on a downer and then something good happens. It makes you appreciate the good times even more. Hope you having a good time as I think you're a talented woman who comes across as a lovely woman. So good luck to you."
As another commented: "Me and mine met at 18 didn’t see each other again until 32 and 3 years later nearly are still together again! Meant to be for you!"
A fourth said: "You look beautiful. No filter needed. Amazing human inside and out. Be happy" and another: "How lovely! Lots of happiness to you both."
Sheridan confirmed the split between her and Jamie slightly more than a year after they had their son Billy together.
The pair both shared a statement addressing their break up to The Sun which read: "It is with great sadness that we have decided to have some time apart.
"We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
The couple got engaged back in May 2018 and the couple were living together in a property in North London.
Jamie also appeared on screen alongside Sheridan in a her documentary Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum, which was filmed for ITV and was released in 2020 and followed her pregnancy as a first time parent.
