Sheridan Smith opens up about 'mum guilt' as she juggles work and caring for baby

Sheridan Smith has opened up about the struggle of being a working mother and caring for her young son, as spoke about her suffering with "mum guilt"

The Gavin & Stacey star, 39, welcomed son Billy with fiancé Jamie Horn, 30, back in May, but admits she's getting used to balancing work and motherhood at times.

Taking to Instagram, Sheridan shared a quote from author and businesswoman Arianna Huffington with her 513k followers, as she reflected on her personal experience of being a working mother.

"I think while all mothers deal with feelings of guilt, working mothers are plagued by guilt on steroids," read the quote.

"I miss him so much, hate missing precious time with him."

Naturally, the comments section was soon flooded with supportive messages from fans and fellow mothers.
