Sheridan Smith has given birth to her first child.
The Gavin & Stacey star has become a mum for the first time at 38 after welcoming her baby boy with her fiancé Jamie Horn.
Announcing the news, she shared a sweet picture of him holding onto her finger, writing: "Our little man has arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love"
Actress Sheridan first sparked rumours she was pregnant back in October, when she made reference to getting morning sickness.
The stunning star was heading off to perform on a cruise ship when she announced she was suffering from the pregnancy symptom.
Sheridan shared a picture of two VIP passes on Instagram, writing: "About to set sail for 4 days, wish me luck with my morning sickness."
The post left her fans stunned, and they rushed to offer their congratulations.
She later confirmed the happy news while she was performing on board the Floating Festivals event, telling the passengers she was entertaining: "I've got a baby on board."
She added: "I've got buckets in each wing and trainers so I can run.
"I'm very out of breath. I've got all these new symptoms, so sorry!"
Her announcement came just one month the star revealed she was ready to start a family with Jamie.
She said being with child actors while in London’s West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat had made her broody.
Sheridan, who lives in rural Kent with Jamie, added: "I can’t tell you how much I love the kids.
"They are all an utter joy and have made the whole experience for me, I will cherish the memories and watch their careers flourish.
"Me and Jamie now are thinking of making me a mamma. All thanks to these amazing souls."
The Cilla actress met former insurance broker Jamie on dating app Tinder at the start of 2018.
In November, Sheridan excitedly announced that she had a little boy on the way.
Taking to Twitter, she shared a filtered video of herself holding up a baby outfit.
She wrote: "It’s a...................B O Y !!"
Sheridan kept her fans up to date throughout her pregnancy, even sharing a beautiful picture of her unborn child after going for a 3D scan.
His little face was clearly visible in the picture.
And Sheridan said it was the last image she'd see of her baby for a while because of the coronavirus pandemic and UK lockdown.
Sharing it online, Sheridan wrote: "I've just been told that I won’t see this little face for a while now because of lockdown, so thought I'd share his beautiful chubby chops with you guys to cheer me up.
"So grateful we got to @tummy_2_mummy & @donna.grant.75033 for these pics a few weeks ago, I can look at them everyday now till he’s born."
She concluded: "Hope everyone is doing ok during this crazy time Xx".
