Sheridan Smith said she has a “baby on board” after sparking pregnancy rumours with a picture posted on Instagram last week.
The 38-year-old star is currently on board a musical theatre cruise where holidaymakers were treated to a live performance from her.
Teasing the trip, Smith previously said she “suffering with morning sickness” which led to many congratulatory messages from fans.
She has now addressed the happy news more directly, telling audience members on the cruise she has a “baby on board”.
In a video obtained by the Mirror, Smith can be seen adding that she has been suffering from “sickness”, stating: “I’ve got buckets in each wing and trainers so I can run.
“I’m very out of breath. I’ve got all these new symptoms, so sorry.”
Standard Online contacted Smith’s representatives, who said they had no further comment to add at this stage.
The Cilla actress is engaged to insurance broker Jamie Horn.
The couple are believed to have met via a dating app in 2018 and Horn popped the question a year later.
Smith recently completed a run in the West End production of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
This year, she has also starred in the ITV series Cleaning Up.
