Sheridan Smith enjoyed a cute moment as she cradled her baby son while she celebrated her birthday.
Among an abundance of birthday messages, the Gavin & Stacey actress was able to squeeze in a cuddle with her newborn baby.
The first time mum and her boyfriend Jamie Horn were overjoyed to welcome their bundle of joy in May.
Sharing the adorable picture on social media, Sheridan admitted that her baby cuddles were the best birthday gift as she celebrated turning 39.
In the picture, her tiny baby rested on her chest as she looked dotingly down at her son.
"Best birthday present I could’ve asked for!" she captioned the picture.
Sheridan's post was quickly flooded with birthday wishes and cute compliments from her friends and fans.
Among the messages was one from Michelle Visage, who wrote: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA."
Television star Denise Van Outen also wrote a gushing birthday message for the star.
Although the award-winning actress didn't reveal how she had celebrated her big day, she also re-posted a large collection of Instagram story posts that had been dedicated to her birthday.
Since welcoming her bundle of joy at the start of May, Sheridan has kept relatively quiet on her social media as she enjoyed the first month of motherhood.
The couple are also yet to reveal the name that they have chosen for their firstborn son.
Having been inundated with messages of congratulations after announcing their son's arrival, Sheridan shared a gushing post and revealed that she was 'bowled over by everyone's kindness'.
As well as welcoming her baby during the lockdown, Sheridan recently starred in a lockdown drama where she assumed the role of a heavily pregnant woman alone during the pandemic.
