Shelvey and Almiron to return? Gayle to start? How should Newcastle United line up against Fulham?

Newcastle United welcome Fulham to St James' Park on Saturday evening looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

After victories against West Brom and Crystal Palace, the Magpies had won two games in a row heading into Wednesday's trip to Leeds but were thrashed 5-2 by Marcelo Bielsa's side at Elland Road.

With just a three day turnaround from that game, and with Tuesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final looming large, Steve Bruce will almost certainly make changes given the physical demand on his players, as well as some poor performances in midweek.

Moreover, the club is continuing to recover from a coronavirus outbreak at the training ground. Although United have not named who has tested positive, the Magpies had Javier Manquillo, Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schar all missing for Wednesday's defeat to Leeds for one reason or another.

Meanwhile, Martin Dubravka, Paul Dummett, Allan Saint-Maximin are also missing through injury although Bruce will be thankful the bruising trip to West Yorkshire did not lead to the Magpies' treatment room welcoming any more new recruits.

With that in mind, how would you like to see United line up on Saturday evening?
