Sheldon Richardson misses Browns practice with an Achilles injury

Fear not, it’s not a torn Achilles tendon. Gotta get that out of the way before proceeding…

Browns starting defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson did not practice on Thursday. The team listed him with did not participate status with an Achilles injury.

Richardson was a full go in Wednesday’s practice and the move appears just precautionary. He was filmed riding an exercise bike off to the side of the practice field in Berea and working with trainers. That wouldn’t be happening if Richardson had a torn Achilles.

Linebacker Jacob Phillips (knee) and right tackle Wyatt Teller (calf) were also sidelined from Thursday’s practice. Both missed Wednesday’s session with their injuries as well.
