Online fashion giant Shein has confirmed it will be opening 30 stores across the UK this year. The news will be music to the ears of fashion fans, who, until now, have had to rely on pictures and reviews from others when purchasing items.
Shein is hugely popular with fashion lovers looking for up-to-date clothes, shoes, accessories and homeware items on a budget. It rivals the likes of Primark, PrettyLittleThing, Poundland and New Look.
Now it's been confirmed that Shein is coming to the UK high street. Stores are also set to open in the Middle East and Europe before the end of 2023.
The brand has confirmed that stores will open in 30 different locations, following the success of pop-ups in cities such as Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. It's not yet known where exactly the stores will be, but given such a huge and loyal following in Manchester, I'm willing to put money on one coming here.
Shein is also opening new headquarters in Dublin. Shein's global head of government relations Leonard Lin said: “Ireland’s pro-business environment and great access to talent make it an excellent hub for companies, including Shein, to manage and grow our business in the region.
“Our Dublin office opening marks an important milestone in Shein’s growth in EMEA (Europe/UK, Middle East, Africa) – which is one of our most important markets. We look forward to contributing to the growth of the local economies and to supporting local communities.”
