Moving on to the underrated attractions in Washington D.C., Johnson mentions The Wharf area as a blossoming hotspot that has captured the attention of visitors. Additionally, she highlights the new U.S. Park Police Horse Stables and Education Center, a facility in which she actively participated in raising funds. This facility replaces the previous temporary horse stables built for the 1976 Bicentennial.

Across other Salamander Collection properties, there is no shortage of renovations and relaunches. Aspen Meadows in Colorado has recently completed a beautiful renovation of its Bauhaus-style arrival area and introduced the West End Social restaurant. Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Florida, is in the final stages of refurbishment and relaunching their Packard's Steakhouse. Half Moon in Jamaica is celebrating 70 years of service and has plans to announce a major project centered around their Rose Hall Villas. Lastly, Hotel Bennett in Charleston is celebrating its fifth anniversary, a testament to its ongoing success.
