Manchester United travel to Sheffield United this afternoon looking to overtake their opponents in the Premier League table.
Few would have expected Solskjaer's side to be looking up at the Blades at this point of the season, but the Red Devils trail their hosts by a point after 12 games.
Chris Wilder's side boast the second-best defence in the top-flight with just nine goals conceded, but Man Utd are finding their groove with the return of Anthony Martial and will put the Blades to the test.
Solskjaer's men also have a point to prove away from home, and matches such as these will likely determine whether they are playing Champions League football next season.
Premier League preview
Sheffield United vs Manchester United
Venue: Bramall Lane
Kick-off time: 4:30pm GMT, today
Prediction
Sheff Utd 1-2 Man Utd
Solskjaer's side have seen an upturn in away results over the last month, but a 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth shows there are still serious problems on the road.
United have collected just five points from six away games - the ninth-worst tally in the top-flight - and given the Blades' form and tight defence, expect a close affair.
However, with Marcus Rashford in red-hot form over the international break, the visitors could take a win on the counter.

Team news (after the international break)
Sheffield Utd
The only selection problem for the Blades is Dean Henderson, with the goalkeeper unable to face his parent club.
Man Utd
Solskjaer has issues all over the pitch - though, mercifully, United suffered no more injuries over the international break.
Scott McTominay picked up an ankle injury during the win vs Brighton and is still out of action.
That means Nemanja Matic should partner Fred in the middle. Paul Pogba is on the comeback trail after having the cast on his ankle removed - though Solskjaer may not want to rush him back given that a quick return from injury played a part last time around.
In defence, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Axel Tuanzebe have all returned from injury, while Ashley Young will be back after serving a one-match suspension.
Angel Gomes is still out along with Eric Bailly, but Timothy Fosu-Mensah is back in individual training.
Predicted lineups
Sheff Utd: Moore; Basham, Egan, O'Connell; Baldock, Lundstram, Norwood, Fleck, Stevens; Mousset, McGoldrick
Man Utd: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred, Matic; James, Pereira, Rashford; Martial
