Sheffield United vs Wolves LIVE: Result and reaction from Premier League fixture today

Wolves are taking on Sheffield United tonight in the Premier League as both clubs chase European football next season.

The Blades have won just one of their five games since the restart and have fallen down to ninth in the tabe, but can climb back to within a point of sixth-placed Wolves with a win here. Wolves were doing well with three straight wins, but then lost to Arsenal last time out.

Follow all the action below live:

The Blades move back up to seventh, their European dreams still very much alive. Wolves may have to settle for the Europa league. They've lost back-to-back games now and the momentum seems to be leaving them at the most crucial moment of the season.
FULL TIME
90+4 mins: It was difficult to split the two teams in the build up to the match and so it proved until John Egan won a header in the closing seconds. Sheffield United get the win and take the points! Unreal scenes.
GOAL!
90+3 mins: GOAL! Sheffield Utd 1 - 0 Wolves - (Egan)
Huge. Sheffield Utd win a corner and Norwood swings it into the box. Egan breaks away from Jonny and meets the cross with a strong header. The ball hits the back of the net and the Blades win it at the death!
90 mins: Teh free kick is played down the wing to Osborn. He collects the pass and tries to slot it low into the box but the cross is blocked out for a corner. The corner ball is whipped into the box and cleared by Wolves.
Three minutes to be added on at the end.
87 mins: Doherty handles the ball as he blocks a cross into the box from Stevens. Free kick to Sheffield United just outside the Wolves penalty area.
84 mins: Only one shot on target for each team. It feels as though it should be more than that. There's been lots a good build-up but that hasn't been converted into chances on goal.
SUBS
81 mins: Lender Dendoncker comes on for the last ten minutes as he replaces Adama Traore. Mousset takes a shot from about 25-yards out but doesn't trouble the goalkeeper.
78 mins: Jonny switches off as he looks to clear a cross into the Wolves box. Baldock comes up behind him, jumps higher and wins the header but he misses the target. A big chance goes begging for Sheffield United.
75 mins: Boly brings Zivkovic down over by the corner flag. The Blades' free kick is whipped into the box but Jimenez comes to the rescue for Wolves and heads away the cross.
72 mins: Traore makes a good run to the byline and delivers a good ball into the box but Basham is there to head it out for a throw in.
SUBS
69 mins: Another break to take on fluids in the pouring rain. Zivkovic comes on for Sharp in Sheffield United's second change.
66 mins: Stevens plays the ball into the box for Osborn. Osborn tries to cross it but the pass is blocked and cleared away.
YELLOW CARD
63 mins: Wolves have scored 60% of their total league goals (27) in the last half an hour of matches this season. Will they add to that today?
Traore sprints forward through the middle of the pitch, Stevens comes across and cynically takes him out. Yellow card for the Sheffield Utd man.
60 mins: Stevens plays a pretty good ball into the six-yard box. Sharp and Mousset throw themselves at the cross but it skips off the wet surface and out of play before they can reach it.
57 mins: Basham works the ball into the box and goes to ground as Coady gets close. The Wolves defender doesn't make a tackle but is able to clear the ball and Martin Atkinson waves play on. Basham was looking for one there but he couldn't fool the referee.
54 mins: Sheffield United find the back of the net first. Stevens slots a great ball through the Wolves back line and into the feet of Sharp. Sharp turns and shoots, the shot takes a deflection and goes past Rui Patricio but the whistle goes and the offside flag is raised against Sharp.
51 mins: Moutinho whips a Wolves free kick into the box. O'Connell defends it with a header out of the box. Neves runs onto the loose ball and drills it wide of goal.
SUBS
48 mins: Oli McBurnie is taken off by Chris Wilder just three minutes into the second half. He must have a knock that he can't run off, Lys Mousset replaces him.
Second half: No changes made by either team at the break. The Blades get us back underway, Egan puts a long ball up the pitch for McBurnie but Coady clears it away.
