Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie's brilliant gesture to Swansea City fans at QPR

Oli McBurnie attracted plenty of attention after surprising the Jack Army by turning up in the away end for Swansea City's Championship win over Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night.

who watched on as Steve Cooper's troops continued their dream start to the 2019/20 campaign by beating Mark Warburton's side 3-1 at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

McBurnie - who joined Premier League outfit Sheffield United for a club-record fee earlier this month - posed with supporters for pictures and even led chants in what proved to be a memorable away day for the Swansea faithful.

And the 23-year-old further endeared himself to his former club's fanbase after forking out for a hefty round of drinks for 50 lucky members of the Jack Army.

Swans fan Paul Johnson wrote on Twitter: "Just found out that the ledge Oli McBurnie paid for 50 pints at half time for the Swansea fans. Awesome gesture."

Second-half goals from Borja Baston and Sam Surridge ensured Swansea left the English capital with all three points after Bersant Celina's opener had been cancelled out by Jordan Hugill.

The Swans are currently second in the Championship table having claimed 10 points from the possible 12 on offer so far.

Swansea return to action against Birmingham City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
