Sheffield United could command £1million loan fee for Sunderland 'target' Daniel Jebbison

Sheffield United have slapped a £1million loan fee on Sunderland target Daniel Jebbison, according to reports.

The Star claims that the Black Cats and Burton Albion have held talks with the Blades youngster, but one of those sides has suggested they've been priced out of a move given the size of the faculty fee.

They also claim that a number of the Bramall Lane hierarchy would prefer Jebbison to link up with team mate Femi Seriki at Beerschot after signing with the Belgian outfit on loan.

The exact amount the Blades are asking for is yet to be confirmed, but there is speculation it could be as high as £1million after the 18-year-old broke into the first team in the Premier League last season.

It seems almost certain that Jebbison will leave Bramall Lane on loan this season. New Blades boss Slavisa Jokanovic confirmed that the England youth internationals would benefit from regular first team football.

The Blades have an host of options up front but a number of Sheffield United fans believe he could still force his way into the starting XI.

Jokanovic told The Star: "We believe he (Jebbison) needs more guaranteed football on the field.

“One way of doing that, if he can’t get that here, is to loan him out. In football, you never know but Jebbo is working very hard.”
