Sheffield United boss has major problem ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic says the Blades need to "fix" their problem of lacking a clinical edge in front of goal as they prepare to face Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

The Reds take on the Blades at the City Ground hoping to follow up their impressive performance at QPR on Friday in which they snatched a 1-1 draw.

By contrast, United suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Blackpool despite dominating the game for large spells as they continue to find Championship life a struggle after relegation from the Premier League last term.

United have also struggled to keep clean sheets having only produced three shutouts in 15 games so far, but Jokanovic says their biggest issue is their lack of ruthlessness.

“It is true, we were creating the chances and I don’t remember them (Blackpool) creating anything," he told the Star.

“I can not give you now a clear explanation of how we lost the game. But the result is clear, and we did.

“I am saying a lot that we didn’t play bad but lost. We are in some sort of process but this has been going on for some months now. I believe we played better than Blackpool but we lost everything in one situation.

“This is not the first time for us. We need to fix this problem.”
