Ringing doorbells and running away has been a staple for naughty children everywhere for as long as anyone can remember. But for the person on the receiving end it can be disruptive and very annoying.
That's certainly how Hayley Samuel felt last weekend as she tried to relax in the warm at home, only for her electronic doorbell to repeatedly 'ping' her mobile phone with alerts that there was someone at her front door. However, when the 30-year-old train guard from Cwmdare in Rhondda Cynon Taf went to see who it as she was probably expecting to shoo away some local kids playing pranks on their neighbours.
What she didn't figure on was looking out as see a flock of sheep staring back at her whilst munching their way through the shrubs and plants she'd just bought for her front garden. Indeed, so taken aback was she - not to mention a little bit amused - that she took to social media to let others know about the 'un-baa-lievable' sight.

"Right, I’ve had enough now," she posted. "If anyone can identify one of these little ASBOs and point me in the direction of their parents I will be forever grateful.
"All day long they’ve been setting off my doorbell and running away when I answer the door." She later told WalesOnline, "They'd been roaming around the estate a while - some people of the neighbourhood Facebook page had spotted them.

"They're proper little escape artists and had made their way up here from the nearby farm - they manage to get out every now and again. I had no idea they'd come as far as our street though."
So with her doorbell alerts set to 'maximum sensitivity' Hayley found her plans for a quiet day off were soon scuppered. "I was getting messages every 20 minutes telling me there was someone outside and each time I'd go to the door and catch them red-handed munching away at my greenery.
"But when I shooed them away they just trotted around the block and came back again." However, she added she's developed a bit of a soft spot for the four-legged visitors.
"It was quite nice because I remember being a little one and seeing sheep wanderning the streets quite often. So they can roam around here as much as they want."
