One woman was clearly bowled over, after her partner got down on one knee in the stands at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
The cricket mad couple were watching England's T20 international against Pakistan, which is taking place in front of a full house.
The groom-to-be, wearing a retro England cricket top, clearly picked the right location to propose to the bride-to-be, who was donning an England sunhat.
Sky Sports broadcast footage of the proposal, and happily she accepted.
The broadcaster even mimicked the TV umpire process used in cricket, showing a 'decision pending' banner before replacing it with 'she said yes!'.
On Twitter Andrew said: "Marriage proposal at Old Trafford. Decision Pending (she said yes).
"Cricket is a great sport. Brings people together. Loads Eng & Pak fans applauding as one."
No doubt the happy couple will be hoping that England will make their special day even more perfect by securing a win.
