'She's watching over them' Parents of Scots crash tragedy toddler Robyn Knox welcome twin sons

The parents of tragic Robyn Knox have welcomed adorable twin sons just four months after their beloved daughter was killed in a Fife car crash.

Danielle Falconer, 26, and Barry Knox welcomed their wee bundles of joy on December 4 and paid tribute to little Robyn by giving the boys names beginning with the initial R

The couple, of Cardenden, Fife, revealed the news on social media and unveiled the boys’ names - Robin-Junior and River - so they would have the same initials as their big sister.

Danielle said: “We wanted all our babies to have the same initials so they’ll always have a connection.

"We know Robyn has been, and will continue, watching over the boys and being the best sister ever.”

Robyn was just three-years-old when she died after being hit by a Nissan Micra in Townhill, Fife, on August 3.

She was rushed to  hospital  in Kirkcaldy by ambulance while her frantic parents raced to be by her side.

But the youngster, who was a talented freestyle dancer, was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.

The tragedy happened a day after her mum shared a snap of the youngster holding a baby scan of the twins on social media.

Danielle and Barry are now raising money to create a support hub for bereaved parents at Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital — where their daughter passed away — through their Facebook page Remembering Robyn.
