Shazam! post-credits scene: How many are there?

Prepare to witness the pure of heart Champion of Eternity.

In Shazam!, young teen Billy Batson (Asher Angel ) is gifted with the extraordinary abilities of the wizard known as Shazam (Djimon Hounsou), transforming him into an adult superhero (Zachary Levi).

As Shazam, Billy must battle the evil scientist Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) to protect the planet and his foster siblings, including best friend and Justice League super-fan Freddy Freeman (Jack Dylan Glatzer).

With his extraordinary abilities - including super-stength, flight and lightning abilities - does Billy have what it takes to be the superhero the world needs to defeat the demonic Seven Deadly Sins?

Also, how many post credits scenes should you stick around?

There are two scenes following the end of the film.

The first is a mid credits scene with hints for a sequel film.

The second and last occurs at the end of the credits and is a funny scene for Billy and Freddy.

In the mid credits scene, Sivana languishes in his cell and draws symbols from the Rock of Eternity into the walls when he is approached by a talking alien caterpillar (yep).

The caterpillar states that the pair will join together "pillars of evil" to take control, pleasing Sivana.

The character is Mister Mind, a genius telepathic alien being who leads the Monster Society of Villains in the comic books.

He will likely be a villain in a possible sequel film.

In the post credits scene, Freddy continues to test Shazam's abilities and wants to see if Billy can communicate with fish.

Billy laughs the idea off after testing it.

We'll cross that one off the list, then!

Shazam! is in UK cinemas now.
