Shayne Ward now looks completely different as he grows his hair

Former Coronation Street star Shayne Ward is looking so different these days as he showcased a new longer, curly hairstyle. The soap hunk and singer from Tameside delighted fans as he disclosed that he's back in the recording studio and with a new look.

That's My Goal singer Shayne, 37, who recently became a dad for the second time with his fiancee Sophie Austin, shared a fun video clip showing him at work. And the former X Factor winner revealed his hunger for making music again as he placed a soundtrack of Katy Perry's Bon Appetit over the clip.

Shayne on Corrie as Aidan (ITV)

Proud parents Shayne and Sophie Austin announced the arrival of their second child together on June 16, but with an unexpected twist. The couple were expecting a second daughter but were instead greeted by a baby boy.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Shayne said: "And then there were Four! 11/06/22 we had a HUGE surprise! Not a baby girl we were expecting but a beautiful baby Boy. We are so overjoyed and blessed that sir baby Ward has arrived."

Shayne and his partner welcomed their daughter Willow in 2016 and previously revealed to OK! that she was expecting a little sister. Shayne said: "It’s just amazing. She runs in every morning and says, ‘Morning mummy and daddy, I’m just going to say hello to my little sister'. And it’s nice to hear her saying ‘my little sister’ as she’s now automatically a big sister."

Shayne, who won the 2005 series of the X Factor, left the Corrie cobbles in 2018 after receiving wide praise for his role as factory boss Aidan Connor. And fellow actor Sophie played killer nurse Lindsey Butterfield in the gripping Gloved Hand Killer storyline in Hollyoaks.

Shayne picked up an award for best single episode for Aidan’s suicide at The British Soap Awards 2019 and the impact of Aidan's tragic death in Corrie also won best storyline. Interviewed by the M.E.N. in 2020 Shayne said he was still approached in the street by people thanking him for his moving portrayal of Aidan, who took his own life after secretly struggling with his mental health, and for raising awareness of mental health.

In 2020 he released a new version of the timeless classic Over The Rainbow for the NHS duing the coronavirus pandemic. Proceeds went to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Urgent Appeal - supporting NHS staff and volunteers caring for coronavirus patients and Shayne used his time in lockdown to work on new material.
