Ex-Aberdeen star Shay Logan trolled Scott Brown after the Celtic legend was finally pictured in his new club's colours for the first time.
The storied history of his beef with the Parkhead club and their departing skipper, of course, stretches back to an unsavoury incident in which Hoops man Aleksandar Tonev was found to have racially abused Logan.
In the years since he's been made to dress up as Brown on his stag do - before recently insisting he lived "rent free" inside the heads of the Celtic support and mocking himself up as their next manager as the wait continues for Neil Lennon's replacement because "no-one else wanted it".
So when Brown was finally unveiled in Aberdeen red on Wednesday afternoon in the club's kit launch, of course Logan had something to say.
The former Pittodrie right-back was quick to spot his old nemesis front and centre of the Dons 2021-22 kit reveal.
And he remarked in a Twitter reply: "What's the saying you can't polish a turd."
Logan has denied his exit from the club he spent seven years with had anything to do with Brown's pre-contract signing on a player-coach basis, nor his slightly bizarre loan move to Hearts for just five games at the end of last term.
He said: "It's not that we didn't get on, he played for Celtic and I played for Aberdeen, there was rivalry on the pitch because he wanted to win and I wanted to win. In terms of that, I've had fights like that on the pitch for 12 years.
"I've not got a personal vendetta against Scott Brown, I don't think he has one against me. Him coming to Aberdeen has nothing at all to do with me leaving, my contract is up.
"Am I his mate? No. Do I know him? No. Do I hear he is a good guy? Yes."
