Shay Logan has "announced" himself as the next manager of Celtic - joking he already 'lives in the minds' of Parkhead fans anyway.
For months it seemed for all the world as if Eddie Howe would be named as the next boss but it all came to a crashing halt on Friday evening.
Record Sport revealed that there had been a breakdown in talks before Celtic themselves announced that Howe would not be their next manager.
That opened the floor to a swathe of new names and Australian Ange Postecoglou has emerged as the frontrunner.
But Logan has taken to Twitter to throw his hat into the ring, "announcing" himself as the next Parkhead boss.

The former Aberdeen and Hearts defender tweeted a mockup of himself holding a Celtic scarf aloft, with the caption: "Breaking news, Logan appointed Celtic manager.
"I live in their heads, I may as well be boss."
Logan said last month that there is no "personal vendetta" between him and Scott Brown, despite the Celtic captain jumping to Aleksandar Tonev's defence when he was accused of racially abusing Logan in 2014.
Tonev was later banned by the SFA and that led to some bad blood between Aberdeen and Celtic.
Logan and Brown became the figureheads of the feud with various clashes on the pitch.
Logan, meanwhile, has embraced his role as a pantomime villain to the Celtic fans and even dressed up as Brown, complete with a full Celtic kit, for his stag-do in 2019.
So naturally he feels he is the best fit to permanently succeed Neil Lennon in the Parkhead hotseat.
