Shay Given has helped launch a new campaign to provide PPE for brave frontline workers.
The former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper is supporting Care Given, which helps get PPE to NHS workers.
Speaking on Talk Sport this morning, Given said: "A good friend of mine Rob Noble is sort of the mastermind behind. We put our brains together and came up with this Care Given thing.
He added: "All our money goes directly to PPE like masks, gloves, aprons, to help the frontliners.
"I think over 100 NHS workers have died already, which is just scary.
"Instead of sitting back and doing nothing, we felt we could do something.
"Every pound donated to this cause is two masks on the frontline."
