The In My Blood singer was quizzed by fans backstage after his concert in Connecticut on Friday, with people desperately trying to figure out whether or not he's officially off the market.
In a video posted on Twitter , a fan is seen asking: "You’ve said you’ve never been in love. Has that changed recently?"
The star replied: "Honestly, I wanna say I wanna talk to you guys about this stuff, but it’s not just me in the relationship.
"There’s another person involved and I can’t say things that I feel. It’s not just me deciding you know?"
While he didn't use her name, fans are convinced he's talking about Camila after they displayed some serious chemistry at the VMAs last week.
The stars came within centimetres of locking lips a number of times, sending the crowd wild with anticipation.
Appearing on a stage dimly lit by hundreds of light bulbs, Cuban-American singer Camila danced around in a white lace outfit while Canadian Shawn played his guitar.
They smiled and giggled as they rubbed noses - leaving fans wanting more.
During the song's chorus, the pair embraced and appeared to be about to share a kiss before pulling away at the last moment.
