Celebrity couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have released a music video for their recent festive collaboration, “Christmas Song”.

The clip is comprised of home video footage of the pair, with profits from streaming going towards the non-profit organisation Feeding America.

“Merry Christmas to you and yours,” wrote Cabello on Twitter. “'The Christmas Song’ video out now. Shot by us, directed by Tarzan from our quarantine bubble.”

The music video sees the “Stitches” and “Havana” singers frolicking around their house, alongside their dog, Tarzan.

“The Christmas Song” features on the deluxe edition of Mendes’s fourth studio album, Wonder, which was released on Monday (7 December).

Mendes and Cabello’s video was well-received by fans, many of whom posted their reactions on social media.

“That was just 3 minutes and 14 seconds of me smiling like an idiot,” commented one viewer underneath the video on YouTube.

“This is the cutest thing I have ever seen,” wrote someone else, while another added: “Nobody is gonna talk about how cute the puppy is?”

Mendes and Cabello aren’t the only popstars who have spread festive cheer recently.

The song was dropped after featuring in Carey’s new Apple TV+ show, titled Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.
