Community spirit can be hard to muster these days - but not in Glasgow's southside.
After the first ever Shawlands Street Party brought together dozens of residents in the area last year, organisers have decided to bring it back - bigger and better than ever!
Once again Carment Community Group will be laying on a day of fun for all the family, with a host of live music and entertainment being lined up.
New cafe with outdoor seating set to open in Glasgow's west end
A statement from the group reads: "As last year was so much fun and the community spirit was so overwhelming we could not resist doing it again.
"Join us for another day filled with great live music, face painters, henna artist, 'Bricks4Kidz', hula hoop performance and workshop, fantastic live dancers, a market place, beer tent, street food and so much more!"

They're hosting a quiet hour from 1pm - 2pm before the music starts, to ensure everyone gets the chance to head along and have some fun.
The statement adds: "In addition to this year's activities, we are having a quiet hour from 1-2pm before the music begins, for anyone who wants to enjoy the street party atmosphere minus the noise!
"Lets Keep Shawlands Rockin'!"
The event takes place on Saturday, June 22 from 2PM – 7PM.
